Milwaukee® first launched M12™ Heated Workwear in 2013 with an average response from consumers.

So when the time came to promote M12™ Heated Workwear in 2014 I put together a social media campaign to showcase how essential these items are for tradies working in the elements

  • These jackets run on one rechargeable Milwaukee® M12™ battery
  • The battery is the same type as used by the M12™ powertool range
  • The powerpack can also charge small devices such as a mobile phone or MP3 player
  • The powerpack can even be used without the jacket to charge devices
  • There are three heat settings – high, medium or low
  • Choose to heat your core, hand pockets or both
  • Depending on the setting one 2Ah battery can last up to 6 hours
  • Clothing is machine washable and can be tumble dried (batteries should be removed before washing)
  • This range is released in March each year and with limited quantities, it was easy to generate a sense of urgency to purchase

Post example March 2014

Warmth at the touch of a button, thanks to the M12™ Heated Jacket from Milwaukee®. The original heated jacket is a clever combination of state-of-the-art carbon fibre heating elements and multi layered fabric technology to keep the cold out of any activity. Wind and water resistant, the M12™ Heated Jacket has 3 adjustable heat settings for the core and lower pocket areas. Powered by a standard M12™ REDLITHIUM™ battery for up to 6 hours of continuous heat, with fade free power even in extreme conditions. A sleek expandable pocket keeps the battery out of your way. The pocket also includes a built-in USB port for charging small portable devices. Available in red, black or Realtree™ Ap Camouflage, in sizes small to 3XL, the Milwaukee® Winter 2014 range is in Australian stores now. (Limited stocks apply and selling fast so don't miss out)

New M12™ Heated Hoodies

New to the heated gear range in 2014 was the hoodie, which was a huge hit with apprentices in particular. Although the hoodies didn't offer all the features of the jacket, they still provided the 3 core heat settings and the USB powerpack (which could be used on its own) for $99.00 RRP with batteries and charger sold separately.

The hoodies were so popular we sold out Australia wide in just 3 weeks
